Dustin, this may work just fine with the new thread.

And, I think you can take the Christmas decorations off your dog now.

What's this thread about again?

1. - Same weird stuff here!

2. - Read the first post, then the 117,000+ after that!

Well, we appear to be back up, hopefully all is well and we can return to unending nothingness

Hi All
The board is finally up for me.

I told RR that if the ATAN was part of the problem to Close It Down.
The board is more important than any one thread.

I also made a suggestion that they save the first page and a few of the last pages and hopefully the post count.
Then archive all the other pages and remove them from the system.
I doubt very much anyone is really going to search back thru 117,000+ post for a particular post.

It is Thursday and I'll be off to work shortly

Maybe you can just start a new chapter every day. I can just see it now -- A Thread About Nothing, Chapter 17,643.

We here in S.F. are sooooo progressive that we are 12 hours ahead of everybody else.

I work Mids, so when I go to work today I'm actually working tomorrow.
My weekend begins at 6:30AM on Friday and my Monday starts on Sunday night.

If you would really like to be confused, I work Shift #3 which is the 1st shift of the day.

At least your days are all the same shift. I work 4 2nd shifts, get one day off, then work a 1st shift, then one day off and repeat.

Rotating shifts Suck

I working rotating days off, but at least it was the same shift.
They also gave us a schedule showing what days we had off for the year, so at least we could plan for when we had weekends off.

Hi Barb

I just sent RR another PM suggesting that the original ATAN be archived and removed from the system.
And the let your ATAN Chapter 2 have a life of its own.

The ATAN with its 117,000+ posts may well be a burden on the board and to me this board is far more important than any one thread.

With an archive of it there will always be a record of its amazing life.

Evening, all!

Almost 24 hours it was down!

I do hope they can archive the data for posterity, but I understand the need to go away if it was causing the problems...

I'm glad we're back up!

At least I get Sundays off for NFL or riding. Ok, I've only watched the NFL once this season instead of riding. (it was raining last weekend)

I assumed your response was for me, but I miss Jim too (pseudosquid)
