Resize to less than 800pix, and upload here.

Alternatively, if you're on FB, upload to a public album there, and embed here.

I use smugmug and just pay the $65 or so a year. I guess it is worth it to know at least the photos I liked the best are uploaded somewhere in case everything else crashes.

Smugmug makes sense if you upload thousands of high quality photos a year in case of hard drive crash, or if you hope to sell photographs.
But if your only going to upload a few hundred a year for low resolution web viewing, it's too much money.
I think imageshack was cheaper, but FFS make the trial period useable or at least try to offer people help.
Until I get everything together for cloud backup, postimages.org works for me.

One of my employees got married last weekend, and the photographer was someone from the church who offered to do it for free. Usually charges $160. She took 119 photos, two of which were sort of wedding quality. The bride wants to redo the shoot. I was like, only 119 photos?!?! I go out for an hour's walk in the neighborhood and take 119 photos...

Tina, is this a technique you use to get those great waterfowl photographs?

I hope you don't experience THIS interaction while shooting pics ...

Driving past Moffet Field last week I had perfect timing entering 101 when two C130s came in to land. They are from the 129th Rescue Wing and have been there for 50 years.

Not sexy planes but still cool to see.

Very cool. Moffett Field is a pretty cool place. The company that I used to work for had the site engineering contract and the manager gave me a tour of the place. As a demonstration, NASA built what they said was the most energy efficient building. It is very high tech and ridiculously expensive.

Actually my brother took those. I had run out of card memory.

The last time I was in Maui was 1980, and the first time in Hawaii during whale migration season. Lots of whales to be seen, and plenty of full body breaches although most at a distance. It's a beautiful island, much has changed since I was there last. Tourism can be a double-edged sword...

Sea turtles on the big island near Punalu'u.

Had three owl surveys and a try at seeing some Greater Sage Grouse this weekend. No Short-eared Owls spotted (not surprisingly), and after two years of being on the spot on time, no Grouse either. One of our owl routes in Montana, well, we should've brought the 4Runner instead of the RAV. Melt off has been so rapid that even I90 was closed yesterday from the WY border to Hardin because the rivers are over the interstate.

Anyway, you takes what you get sometimes...

A nice Red-tailed Hawk though, and a Great Horned Owl hooting softly in the distance as I called and it called back.

Keeping in mind we've been through this puddle once already (I don't give up easy), the one three more wash outs down wasn't so forgiving.

No Grouse...

On the way home, did find Sharp-tailed Grouse, but not on a lek with booming males.

But hey! Here is something cool...10 of my photos are in a book. Granted, it's a book only about 20 people will ever buy, and only 10 will ever read, but still pretty cool...

Last night's owl count I had an old drunk at the Leiter, WY bar and post office (It's a one building town) ask me if I was a liberal. These things are always an adventure. I told him I probably had more guns than he did....

Still, on the way home, I had a Great Horned flight right over the car, so I stopped, turned around, and listened to confirm species, and was treated to a duet of soft hooting.

Let's see, in other random things, we've got ducks coming in, and nesting Great Blue Herons...

Brown Creeper creeping...

American Kestrels perching....

Pine Grosbeaks pining...

Magical Merlin

A Bald Eagle just getting into its last adult plumage

And an America Dipper dipping
