Many times a paint code sticker will be placed somewhere under the seat. Not sure on the 08 fz1 but worth a look to confirm.

I have a 2008, had to order both a fuel tank and front fairing. The red color for this year is DMRK (Deep Metallic Red). If you are trying to mix up your own batch - good luck. This paint code requires a metallic-silver base coat. The red is a metallic as well. Not saying it can't be done - but it will be extremely difficult. ColorRite has us by the balls on this one.....

The red cannot be blended either. Damn candy colors. If mixing your own color, you’d be better off mixing a non original color.
