Didier,
Just to set it straight. I wanted Lucky but it wasn't possible with Psycho Sam. My son ended up with her. Thanks for the well wishes anyhow.

Awesome story old77zrider.

This is Chase a ShihPoo. I have had several dogs but this is my wife's first dog. She stays home due to medical issues and Chase has changed her life for the better (most days lol). He just turned 1 year this month and was a rescue. I never thought I would like a smaller dog, but of course now I do.

Nice! Everybody needs a dog. The ones that don't have one don't know what they are missing.
My wife had a cockapoo that was amazing. Golden doodles are awesome too. Poodle mixes are awesome.

Can't believe this little guy (Butler) turned 13 years old today. Of course, looking back through old photos, I can't believe how much I've aged in the last 13 years. Where does the time go? (The FZ1 has aged better than both of us!)

We adopted this guy last November. He was a gift for Jackie, because she had been wanting a small dog, mind you at the time we still had three labs. I had held out for a long time against getting a fourth dog, but she found this little guy on a FB site dedicated to rescue animals. I must say, I never thought I could get so attached to a little dog. I'm a big dog guy, not a little dog guy, or so I thought. Of course, Jackie is just over the moon in love with him. In fact, I think that dog now owns more clothes than I do!

AND, his name is Taco.

I have a few pet updates...

I had to have my buddy of 13 years (Chancy) put to sleep a month ago. He had chronic diarrhea for months and after many tests it was determined he had cancer. His weight had dropped significantly and I had to make the decision to let him rest in peace.

In October of 2017 my girlfriend was on her way home from work in a thunderstorm and noticed 2 small fur balls on the side of the road. She turned around to find 2 soaking wet cold little kittens about 2-3ish weeks old. No momma in sight, and quite certain they had just been dumped off, she brought them home. I agreed to keep them until we could find good homes for them. Ya right. Weeks went by and attachment was too much to let them go... so now they have a new home with us. They each were neutered just last week.

Ash, AKA "Ashman" then (nice cat hair on my sock, I know)

And now,

Logan, then

And now,

So a couple days ago I come upstairs to find Peanut sitting in the window sill of the window ON TOP of our patio doors. A true ninja.

Today I walk upstairs and found her on top of the ledge we have above our kitchen cabinets... WTF!! I was going to let her find her way back down, but ended up standing on a chair in which I could barely reach the top of the ledge, called her over to me far enough to scruff her and get her down. We'll see what the coming days have in store.

And also from here.

We lost Louie, the Siamese we adopted, a couple of months ago. We only had him five months. What was touted as "picky eater" turned out to be cancer as well. We left him go as long as we could, enjoying his little beds by the sunshine.

Now I'm hear all day alone working and miss my cat. But I'm not ready to get another one. Too much traveling.

Sorry OKA about Louie. He was a handsome young man.

Losing pets just sucks.

What kind of dog is he? We adopted a third dog last fall and he looks quite a bit like your dog, but we are curious as to what breed/s he is.
