Oil level sensor o ring

Can anyone point me to where I can find the o ring for the oil level sensor? I have a gen2, not sure if that matters. Or can I reuse the one I got?

Also, it seems like the total cost of parts is going to be $172 which sounds a little high. Is that about what you guys paid for them?

Cylinder head hard pipe coolant leak, pipe rusted through

I have read all the cautionary tales about removing the hard pipes leading to the water pump on the front of the bike and dropping o-rings in the pan. Any ideas on what sort of problems I am in for trying to remove the hard pipe leading into the cylinder head? Is it as easy to replace those hard pipes as removing the screw and pulling it out or am I in for a bigger world of hurt than I know?

No big deal as long as you have removed enough of the stuff up there to have adequate physical access. Nothing (except dirt) will fall in when you take the pipes out. Blow dirt out from around them first as much as possible. No interfaces with oil up there.

Bringing this back from the dead again.

Just started happening on my 03 Fz1, I am about 115k miles on the motor, so it sounds like I lasted a long time before having issues. The leak is pretty small right now and I can go 300-400 miles without needing to add much coolant to the reservoir, goes from the full line to the low line.

Will this leak get worse?

From reading the entire thread and reviewing the pics (super awesome by the way), I don't think I want to tackle this. Gonna call my shop tomorrow to get an estimate on the job from them.

Local shop says $660 for parts and labor unless the impeller needs to be replaced.
