Ironically, I was just called downstairs, my wife has just brought in a cat that was hit by a car. I immediately had a vision of an actual gutted cat (as the last one of my cats that lost a battle on the road was split open- not pretty).

BTW, I think the poor little bugger might be okay. At first he wasn't moving much and had laboured breathing, but he has sat up and has tried to walk. He's a bit shaky. If I can't find who owns him, I'll take him to the vet or RSPCA in the morning.

Yesterday I finally got around to putting on a Vortex 15 tooth front sprocket, R1 shifter mod, and speedohealer. Quit smoking (May 7th) and have to keep busy!

Yeah baby!

I ordered my Carbon Fiber Yoshi R77 full exhaust from Biohazard Cycles and got it for $785 shipped. I did this Wednesday night (5/13).

I got it today (5/15)!

So this weekend I will be installing a PCIII from Ivan, BMC Air Filter, Yoshi and a TB Synch. I'll prob zip the flies while I am in there as well.

Going to be a busy (but productive) weekend!!

I need to update my signature now!

Search for a black jacket with little red and white continues today too. I also painted the passenger footpeg brackets and installed a poweroutlet and zip tied it near the ignition.

If you've got a little extra cash (and by little I mean a lot) here's an option.

I think it's about $600. Maybe you could get it on sale someplace or off ebay for cheaper. It's the Dainese Arizona jacket. I tried one on once but I didn't like the collar. It comes up kind of high, which you can see in the picture.

I, too, rode it! And if I can bum some Motul chain lube off a co-worker, I'll lube the chain at lunch. And then I'll ride 'er home!

I was just realizing today that I have nearly 5900 miles on a set of Pilot Road 2 -- and they're still going strong! Of course, the bulk of that riding has been commuting...

I rode it then cleaned it last night. This morning cleaned a couple spots I missed. I'm fighting the urge to install all the goodies I got Wed. Full Yosh, BMC, flies, fce, ais block offs,P/CIII, Ignition modulator. I'm trying to put a couple thousand on her before I void my warranty, just to make sure everything is properly sorted. Honestly don't think I'll make it. It is raining in my part of Illinois as well so I might get to ride later.
